In light of Cyber Monday, we’re talking about consumption. Please note that this will be our last Monday Medi of 2019. We’ll be back here on January 13, 2020! Be on the lookout for a few free meditations that we’ll be releasing this holiday season! To get updated about these freebies, sign up for our email list here.

Today we’re talking about consumption and what we consume. Is what you consume reflective of your values and conducive to how you want to spend your time, energy, and money? Are you chasing a sensation? If so, what is that sensation? To counteract over-consumption, today we’re focusing on centering ourselves and setting our intentions.

To find the center of your head:

Place one index finger between your brows and the other in the middle of the top of your head. Where those two points would intersect is the center of your head.

Resources from today’s video:

  • I AM, The Documentary: find it here.

  • Angel Cards (cards that help you set your intention): find them here.

Food for thought:

  • Create your own 2020 “mission statement” – set your intention for the year.

  • What do you want to cultivate for 2020?

  • Think about what you consume. Is this where you want to put your resources of time, energy, and money?

  • Notice the sensations you have while you consume. Are you chasing a feeling?

  • Is having this going to have the desired effect?

  • Consider what you’re consuming. Where did it come from? Whose hands made it?

  • Practice focusing your attention on the things that matter most to you.

  • Share your resources to grow them.

We’ll leave you with this quote:

“You are not a drop in the ocean. You are the entire ocean in a drop.”

– Rumi
