October 2019: Balance and Ease

October is the month of Libra. Libra is the astrological sign of balance, equilibrium, and harmony. This month, we'll be learning about and meditating on the four pillars of balance, which are:

Ease: Approach things with ease. Slow down and enjoy the process. Feel the sensations that life has to offer.

Patience: Apply patience to all the small things outside of your control, like a traffic jam. Take a breath and enjoy the break.

Insight: Your capacity to see yourself clearly. Insight is the art of introspection, intuition, and finding purpose. What energy are you bringing to your everyday life experience?

Harmony: Be in harmony with the world around you. Listen to the world around you. Harmonize with ease, insight, and patience.

This week, consider ease throughout your day. Apply ease to your breath, to difficult situations, and to all things you take for granted.

Happy Autumn Equinox!

Today we're consciously cultivating and stabilizing our breath to expand our energetic resources.

Your breath is your reset button and your most important resource. You can't survive without it. Every breath is an opportunity to inhale new oxygen and energy resources and to exhale carbon dioxide and waste from the body.

Notice what affects your breath. Breathe consciously. Throughout your day, notice how you're breathing. Notice the quality of your breath in different situations.
