Seek Out Blessings
Wherever you feel, see, or hear joy, happiness, compassion, kindness, or love, pause and take that moment in. Lock in these moments to your energy banks. Seeking out blessings will radically change your mood. Try this mindfulness exercise with us: Take three deep, indulgent breaths. On every inhale, say to yourself: “I’m aware of my heart.” During every exhale, do the same. Say to yourself: “I’m aware of my heart.”
Count Your Blessings
Count your blessings. What are your blessings? Acknowledge your blessings. Take moments of gratitude everyday. Breathe into your blessings. Put a hand on your heart. For each of your blessings, take a breath. Breathe into the space of your heart.
Breathing Exercise: Moments of Gratitude
Let’s take a few moments of gratitude together. Put your right hand on your heart, close your eyes, and tune into the space of your heart. Breathe into your heart. The energy of the heart says I relate, I love, I value, I respect, I appreciate. Breathing in, say to yourself: “I am blessed.” Breathing out, say to yourself: “blessings.” Expand your blessings to the space around you.
Three Minute Meditation: Cultivating Presence
“I am” is a phrase we use to invoke the here and now and your higher self. Create an “I am” statement to cultivate your presence: “I am present.” Breathe deeply into the space of your heart.
Have reverence for the things that make you human. Have reverence for what we stand on (the planet).
Have reverence for your humanity and what makes you uniquely human.
Have reverence for what we stand under (the heavens).
Practice reverence for life, for your breath, and for your capacity to grow and change.

Breathe into the space of your heart. Say to yourself: I am the rhythm of my heart. I feel the rhythm and the beating of my heart. I am the power of my heart. I feel the power of my heart. I am the humanity of my heart. I feel the humanity of my heart.
